'Wangdi'is a new cultivar bred from seedlings of Cerasus campanulata.The flowers are dense,open widely and has large diameter,with 8-43 purplish red oblong petals which of inner whorl spread outward.Sometimes in the middle of the flowers there is another flower.It has funnel-shaped calyx tube and reflexed sepals.There are two pistils whose stigmas can be seen before the flower blooms.
