To improve the screening efficiency of social anxiety among college students,the present study sought to revise the Chinese version of the Interaction Anxiety Scale(IAS)and test for its reliability and validity in Chinese college students.A total of 1020 college stu-dents were investigated with the IAS,Revised Cheek and Buss Shyness Scale and Brief Fear Negative E-valuation Scale,to test the items validation,reliabili-ty,validity and cross-gender equivalence.According to the item analysis,the item 6 and item9 were delet-ed.The revised IAS in Chinese version includes two dimensions of tension and relaxation,and has good reliability and validity.In conclusion,the Chinese version of the IAS can be used as a reliable tool to measure social anxiety among Chinese college stu-dents.
