Effect of sublingual Carboprost Methylate Suppositories on postoperative Bleeding Prevention and its Impact on Coagulation Function in cesarean Section Patients
Objective To analyze the effect of sublingual carboprost methylate suppositories on postoperative bleeding prevention and its impact on coagulation function in cesarean section patients. Methods A prospective study was conducted,130 cesarean section patients admitted to Pingyu County Central Hospital in Zhumadian City from April 2019 to April 2023were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oxytocin, while the observation group was treated with carboprost methylate suppositories in addition to the control group. The amount of bleeding and the occurrence of postpartum bleeding between two groups at different time points(1 hour postpartum,2 hours postpartum, and 24 hours postpartum)were compared; Two groups of prenatal and postpartum hemoglobin levels and coagulation function were compared;the occurrence of adverse reactions between two groups were recorded and compared. Results The observation group had a lower postoperative bleeding rate compared to the control group, with lower bleeding volume at 1 hour,2 hours, and 24 hours postpartum compared to the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);After childbirth, the hemoglobin levels in the two groups were lower than that before delivery, while the hemoglobin levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);After delivery, the level of fibrinogen(FIB)in both groups were higher than that before delivery. The observation group had shorter thrombin time(TT)and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)compared to the control group, and the FIB levels were higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Sublingual carboprost methylate suppositories in cesarean section patients can effectively prevent postoperative bleeding, reduce postpartum bleeding, improve coagulation function, and do not significantly increase the risk of adverse reactions.
