Clinical Observation of Enzymatic Cycling Methods on the Detection of Serum Homocysteine
Objective To study the applied value of enzymatic cycling methods on the detection of serum homocysteine(Hcy). Methods Collect serum samples from 78 patients with cardiovascular diseases in Zhengzhou Coal Industry(Group)Co.,Ltd.General Hospital,as well as serum samples from 78 healthy individuals undergoing physical examinations. The selection period was from January 2021 to December 2022.All serum samples were tested using the circulating enzyme method simultaneously, and the results of circulating enzyme method serum homocysteine detection were compared between patients with cardiovascular disease and healthy individuals undergoing physical examination; In addition,anti-interference tests were conducted during the detection process to determine the interfering factors for the determination of serum homocysteine using the circulating enzyme method. Results The Hcy detection value of cardiovascular disease patients was higher than that of healthy individuals undergoing physical examination, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Interference experiments have shown that most endogenous substances such as sodium dihydrogen phosphate(NaH2PO4),sodium fluoride(NAF),and triacylglycerol do not significantly interfere with the determination of plasma Hcy.However, high concentrations of blood ammonia can produce negative deviations, with glutathione(concentration=0.50,deviation=+9.3)and L-cysteine(concentration=1.00,deviation=+9.5)interfering the most significantly with positive deviations. Conclusion The circulating enzyme method has high application value in the determination of Hcy.
