Application of Multi-mode Expectoration Promotion Nursing Combined with Holistic Care Management in Children with Bronchial Pneumonia Receiving Oxygen Therapy
Objective To explore the effect of multi-mode expectoration promotion nursing combined with holistic care management in children with bronchial pneumonia receiving oxygen therapy. Methods A total of 86 children with bronchopneumonia receiving oxygen therapy in Zhengzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from August 2017 to February 2019 were selected and divided into an intervention group(n=43,multi-mode expectoration promotion nursing combined with holistic care management intervention)and a control group(n=43,routine nursing intervention)by random number table. The expectoration time, expectoration volume, lung function[forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF)],symptom disappearance, and quality of life[The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory Measutement Models(PedsQL 4.0)]were compared between the two groups. Results The intervention group had a shorter expectoration time and more expectoration volume than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention,FEV1 and PEF were increased in both groups, and the intervention group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of symptom disappearance in the intervention group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,PedsQL 4.0 scores of both groups were increased(P<0.05),and the intervention group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Multi-mode expectoration nursing combined with holistic care management intervention can promote sputum discharge, shorten the time of expectoration, promote the recovery of lung function and symptoms, and improve the quality of life in children with bronchial pneumonia treated with oxygen therapy.
