Objective To explore the effect of PDCA cycle management combined with diversified health guidance on perioperative nursing of patients with lung cancer. Methods A total of 82 patients with lung cancer who received surgical treatment in Henan Chest Hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into a control group(routine care)and an observation group(PDCA cycle management combined with diversified health guidance)with 41 cases each by random number table method.Anxiety,depression,self-efficacy score, pulmonary function index, secondary infection rate,self-care ability score, and nursing quality score were compared between the two groups. Results The anxiety, depression, and self-efficacy scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of lung function indexes in the control group was lower than that in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of secondary infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-care ability score of the control group was lower than that of the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing quality score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA combined with diversified health guidance in patients with lung cancer during the perioperative period can strengthen patients'self-efficacy,improve adverse mood and lung function indicators, reduce the incidence of secondary infection, improve patients'self-care ability, and improve nursing quality score.
