Effect of Anesthesia Recovery Nursing in Operating Room on Agitation During General Anesthesia Recovery in Patients Undergoing Abdominal Operation
Objective To investigate the effect of anesthesia recovery nursing in the operating room on emergence agitation(EA)during recovery from general anesthesia in patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Methods A total of 88 cases of abdominal surgery patients,(2020.01-2022.10)admitted to Xinyang Central Hospital are selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,44 cases each. The control group was given conventional care and observation group was given anesthesia recovery nursing in operating room.To compare the wake up related indexes,EA score and incidence, blood pressure and heart rate conditions during wake up period and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The retention time of postanesthesia care unit(PACU),extubation time and full recovery time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of emergence agitation(EA)in the observation group(6.82%)was lower than that in the control group(27.27%),and the difference was statistically significant.Compared with the two groups, the heart rate and blood pressure in the observation group were better during the recovery period, and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group(4.45%)was lower than that in control group(18.18%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Anesthesia recovery nursing in the operating room can reduce the occurrence of EA during general anesthesia recovery in abdominal surgery patients, keep patients'heart rate and blood pressure stable, and reduce the incidence of postoperative adverse events.
