The Application Effect of Family Continuity Nursing Services Demand and Continuity Nursing Services for Children with bronchial Asthma
Objective To analyze the family continuity nursing services demand in children with bronchial asthma, develop corresponding continuity nursing services, and summarize their clinical application value. Methods A total of 116 children with bronchial asthma who were admitted to Henan Provincial People's Hospital from March 2020 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and study group according to the random number table, with 58 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing measures, while the study group received continuous nursing services based on the family continuity nursing services demand.Family nursing ability[assessed using the Family Caregiver Task Inventory(FCTI)],child compliance behavior[analyzed using the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale(MMAS-8)],and prognostic status(number of asthma exacerbations, emergency visits, and rehospitalizations were recorded)were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of various indicators of postoperative nursing ability of the family members of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The compliance behavior of children in the study group after nursing was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The number of asthma attacks, emergency visits, and readmissions in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion It is of positive significance for children with asthma to develop continuum of nursing services based on the needs of family continuum nursing services, which can effectively enhance the nursing capacity of family members and improve medication compliance of children, reduce the risk of disease recurrence, and has significant clinical application value.
