Effect of Carbon Dioxide dot-matrix Laser combined with Tacrolimus Ointment in the Treatment of Vitiligo
Objective To explore the effect of carbon dioxide dot-matrix laser combined with tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of vitiligo.Methods A total of 84 vitiligo patients admitted to Anyang District Hospital in Puyang City from January 2020 to October 2022 were randomly divided into control group(n=42)and observation group(n=42)using a random number table method.The control group was treated with tacrolimus ointment,while the observation group was treated with a combination of carbon dioxide dot-matrix laser on the basis of the control group's treatment.The therapeutic effect,white spot recovery time,psychological status,and satisfaction degree were compared between the two groups.Results The therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);Compared with the two groups,the observation group had a shorter time for white spot discoloration,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores between the two groups of patients(P＞0.05);After treatment,the SDS score and SAS score of both groups decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);After treatment,the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,indicating a better psychological state,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The satisfaction level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of carbon dioxide dot-matrix laser and tacrolimus ointment can improve the clinical efficacy of vitiligo patients,shorten the time for white spot discoloration,alleviate negative emotions,and improve patient satisfaction.
