Observation on the Curative Effect of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction Combined with Glucosamine Hydrochloride Capsule on Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective To investigate the curative effect of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with glucosamine hydrochloride capsule on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods A total of 112 KOA patients treated in Tanghe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2020 to January 2022 were selected and divided into a study group(n=56)and a control group(n=56)according to the random ball-touching method.The control group was treated with a glucosamine hydrochloride capsule,and the study group was treated with Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with a glucosamine hydrochloride capsule.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,knee joint function,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of the study group(96.43%)was higher than that of the control group(83.93%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment(two weeks after treatment),the scores of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment(two weeks after treatment),the western ontario and mcmaster university osteoarthritis index scale(WOMAC)scores of both groups were decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(1.79%)was lower than that in the control group(8.93%),and the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction and glucosamine hydrochloride capsules in the treatment of KOA patients can improve clinical efficacy,clinical symptoms,knee joint function,and high safety.
