Analysis of the Effect of Hydrochloride Ligustrazine Injection combined with Betahistine Tablets in the Treatment of Vertigo
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of ligustrazine hydrochloride injection combined with betahistine tablets in the treatment of vertigo. Methods A study was conducted on 62 patients with vertigo from December 2019 to December 2022 at Yingzhou Street Community Health Service Center in Jianxi District,Luoyang City;According to the random number table method, grouping was carried out(31 cases were included in the control group and 31 cases in the study group). The drug treatment plan for the control group was simple betahistine tablets, while the drug treatment plan for the study group was a combination of ligustrazine hydrochloride injection and betahistine tablets. The effective rate of treatment between two groups, the changes in dizziness related scale scores before and after treatment[dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),vertigo handicap questionnaire(VHQ)],the time for relief of basic symptoms, changes in cerebral blood flow of each artery, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during medication were compared. Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group(96.77%)was higher than that in the control group(77.42%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in DHI and VHQ scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the DHI and VHQ scores in both groups decreased significantly compared to those in the same group before treatment, and the reduction in the study group was greater than that in the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05);The relief time for symptoms of dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and difficulty walking in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in cerebral blood flow between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the cerebral blood flow of the right internal carotid artery, left internal carotid artery, right vertebral artery, left vertebral artery, and basilar artery in both groups significantly increased compared to those before treatment in the same group, and the increase in the study group was greater than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions during medication treatment between the control group(9.68%)and the study group(12.90%)(P>0.05).Conclusion Ligustrazine hydrochloride injection combined with betahistine tablets is a high-quality combination therapy for the treatment of dizziness, with definite therapeutic effects and a clear improvement effect on cerebral blood flow in various arteries, which is worthy of application.
