Influence of Protection Motivation Theory-based Nursing Modes on The Postoperative Treatment Compliance and Life Quality for Anal Fistula Patients
Objective To study the influence of protection motivation theory-based nursing modes on the postoperative treatment compliance and life quality for anal fistula patients. Methods A total of 84 anal fistula patients treated from January 2021 to December 2022 in Sanmenxia Central Hospital were investigated.According to random number table, patients were divided into control group(routine nursing measures)and observation group(routine nursing measures and protection motivation theory-based nursing modes),with 42 cases each. The postoperative treatment compliance, the Mos 36-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)scores and nursing satisfaction were compared. Results The postoperative treatment compliance in the observation group(97.62%)was significantly higher than control group(85.71%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);before intervention, there were no significant between-group differences about SF-36 scores of role physical, physical function, bodily pain, social function, vitality, role emotional and general health(P>0.05);after intervention,SF-36 scores for two groups were higher than before;after intervention,SF-36 scores in the observation group were significantly higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the nursing satisfaction in the observation group(97.62%)was significantly higher than control group(83.33%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The protection motivation theory-based nursing modes can improve the postoperative treatment compliance, life quality and nursing satisfaction for anal fistula patients, and is worthy of adoption.
