The Role of Psychological Intervention combined with Continuous Care on the Life Quality and Nursing Satisfaction among patients undergoing Peripheral Vascular Intervention Therapy
Objective To analyze the effect of psychological care and extended care in improving the life quality and nursing satisfaction during peripheral vascular intervention.Methods A total of 98 patients of undergoing the peripheral vascular intervention from January 2020 to December 2022 in Zhengzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected for this study.According to random number table,49 cases of taking the routine nursing measures were included in the control group;49 cases of taking the routine nursing measures,psychological intervention and continued care were included in the observation group.The anxiety,depression and life quality scores,treatment complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results Before intervention,the anxiety and depression scores between groups were not significantly different(P＞0.05);after intervention,the anxiety and depression scores in the observation group were lower than control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before intervention,the physical function,mental function,social function,cognitive function and total living quality scores between groups were not significantly different(P＞0.05);after intervention,the life quality scores in the observation group were higher than control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05);the incidences of treatment complications like hematoma,false aneurysm and arterio-venous fistula in the observation group were lower than control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the treatment satisfaction in the observation group(97.96%)was higher than control group(85.71%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Psychological care combined with extended care during peripheral vascular intervention can alleviate the patients'negative emotions and the occurrence of complications,improve their life quality and nursing satisfaction.It is worthy of clinical application.
