Application of Gastroscope-guided Nose-jejunal Nutrition Tube in Elderly Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Diseases
Objective To discuss the applied effects of gastroscope-guided nose-jejunal nutrition tube in elderly patients with gastroesophageal reflux diseases.Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with gastroesophageal reflux diseases treated from November 2019 to April 2023 in Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology were selected.Divide into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The nasogastric tube was placed in the control group;the gastroscope-guided nose-jejunal nutrition tube was placed in the observation group.Compare the nutritional status,catheterization status,incidence of complications,and quality of life between the two groups.Results After catheterization,the two groups were compared,and the observation group had higher levels of serum total protein,hemoglobin,and prealbumin,with statistical significance(P<0.05);the success rate of one-time catheterization in the observation group was 100.00%,which was higher than the control group's 90.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the average indwelling time in the observation group was shorter than control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,lower than that in the control group by 22.50%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);The health status survey summary table(SF-36)of the observation group after catheterization showed that all scores were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The gastroscope-guided nose-jejunal nutrition tube can improve the nutritional status and one-time indwelling rates,reduce the indwelling time and postoperative complications,and improve life quality for elderly patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease.It is worthy of clinical application.
