The Aesthetic Effects of OSSTEM Implants in the Dental Restoration of Single Posterior Tooth
Objective To explore the aesthetic effects of OSSTEM implants in the dental restoration of single posterior tooth. Methods A total of 62 patients with single posterior tooth implant restorations were selected from the outpatient department of the First People's Hospital of Xinxiang City between January 2020 and March 2023.According to random number table, patients were assigned to control group and observation group, with 31 cases in each group. The control group received routine fixed bridge repair, while the observation group received OSSTEM implant denture repair.Compare the treatment effectiveness, bone resorption around the neck of the implant after repair, and changes in soft tissue parameters between two groups. Results The total effective rates in the observation group(96.77%)were higher than control group(80.65%),with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);The observation group showed lower bone resorption around the implant neck compared to the control group at 1m,3m,and 6m after repair, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);after 1m,3m and 6m of surgery, the plaque index(PLI),sulcus bleeding index(SBI)and probing depth(PD)values in the observation group were lower than control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of OSSTEM implant in single posterior tooth implant restoration can achieve satisfactory results, can produce less impact on the bone tissues and gingival tissues, and increase the implant stability during the dental restoration of single posterior tooth, which is worthy of application.
