Effects of Ezetimibe in the Treatment of coronary Heart Disease and its Impact on cardiac Function,Lipid Metabolism, and inflammatory Cytokine Levels in Patients
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of ezetimibe on coronary heart disease(CHD)and its impact on patients. Methods A total of 68 CHD patients who received treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were randomly divided into conventional group(receiving routine symptomatic treatment)and intervention group(receiving conventional symptomatic treatment with ezetimibe)using a random number table method, with 34 patients in each group. The therapeutic effects, cardiac function, lipid metabolism indicators, and levels of inflammatory factors between two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of treatment in the intervention group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in cardiac function indicators between the two groups(P>0.05);After treatment, the levels of cardiac function indicators in the intervention group were higher than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in lipid metabolism indicators between the two groups(P>0.05);After treatment, except for no statistically significant difference in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels(P>0.05),the intervention group had lower levels of several other lipid metabolism indicators than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of inflammatory factors between the two groups(P>0.05);After treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors in the intervention group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination treatment with ezetimibe in CHD patients can significantly improve efficacy, improve cardiac function and lipid metabolism, and regulate levels of inflammatory factors.
