Clinical Efficacy Observation of Bronchoalveolar Lavage in the Treatment of aspiration Pneumonia with acute respiratory Distress Syndrome
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of bronchoalveolar lavage in the treatment of aspiration pneumonia with acute respiratory distress syndrome. Methods A total of 90 patients with aspiration pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College from March 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional anti-infective drug treatment and symptomatic support, while the study group received bronchoalveolar lavage treatment on the basis of conventional anti-infective drug treatment and symptomatic support.Comparative analysis will be conducted around two groups of treatment efficacy, pre and post treatment clinical pulmonary infection score(CPIS),blood gas indicators, and inflammatory factor indicators. Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group(95.56%)was higher than that in the control group(77.78%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in CPIS scores between groups before treatment(P>0.05),but after treatment, the CPIS scores of both groups decreased significantly compared to before treatment. The study group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in various blood gas indicators between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the pH and partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)of the two groups increased significantly, while PCO2 decreased significantly. The pH and PaO2 of the study group were higher than those of the control group, while PCO2 was lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of various inflammatory factors between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, the levels in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Bronchoalveolar lavage can achieve ideal therapeutic effects on patients with aspiration pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome. It can control pulmonary inflammation and infection in a shorter period of time, improve patient blood gas function, and is worthy of application.
