Impact of the integrated medical and nursing Model combined with nutritional and dietary Guidance on the QLQ C-30 score of perioperative Patients with esophageal Cancer
Objective To analyze the effectiveness of the integrated medical and nursing model combined with nutritional and dietary guidance in patients undergoing esophageal cancer surgery. Methods A total of 90 esophageal cancer surgery patients admitted to Henan Chest Hospital from January 2020 to October 2022 were randomly divided into control group(n=44)and observation group(n=46).The observation group received integrated medical and nursing care combined with nutritional and dietary guidance, while the control group received routine care. The postoperative recovery, stress response levels, psychological status, quality of life, and incidence of postoperative complications between two groups of patients were compared. Results The difference in drainage volume between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05);The observation group had shorter exhaust time, extubation time, and hospitalization time compared to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the stress response of both groups of patients decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After nursing, the psychological status of both groups of patients improved, and the observation group was better than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After nursing, the quality of life of both groups of patients improved, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The integrated medical and nursing model combined with nutritional and dietary guidance applied to perioperative patients with esophageal cancer can reduce their stress response, alleviate negative emotions, improve their quality of life, reduce postoperative complications, and accelerate their recovery process.
