Objective To explore the effect of transdermal therapy combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing for patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 136 RA patients admitted to Henan Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from February 2020 to September 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group,with 68 cases in each group,using a random number table method.The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing intervention,while the intervention group received transdermal therapy combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing intervention.The knee joint function,pain degree,psychological status and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results Compared with before the intervention in the same group,both groups showed an improvement in the knee function score scale scores of the New York Special Surgery Hospital(HSS)in the United States after the intervention,and in comparision of the control group,the intervention group was higher,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After intervention,the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores in both groups were decreased,and in comparision of the control group,the intervention group was lower,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)in both groups were decreased,and in comparision of the control group,the intervention group was lower,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with before intervention in the same group,the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale Brief(WHOQOL-BREF)scores improved in both groups after intervention,,and in comparision of the control group,the intervention group was higher,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Transdermal therapy combined with comprehensive rehabilitation care can enhance the knee joint function of patients,improve their pain level and psychological state,and improve their quality of life.
