Relationship between NRG1,MMP-9 and short-term Prognosis after Thrombolysis in Patients with acute cerebral Infarction
Objective To explore the relationship between the expression levels of serum neuregulin 1(NRG1)and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and short-term prognosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)undergoing intravenous thrombolysis. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 123 patients admitted to the neurology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from April 2022 to April 2023 for ACI and undergoing intravenous thrombolysis. After one month of treatment, patients were divided into good prognosis(83 cases)and poor prognosis(40 cases)based on the modified Rankin scale(MRS)score. The serum levels of NRG1 and MMP-9 were compared between the two groups at different time points, the correlation between the serum levels of NRG1 and MMP-9 and the prognosis was analyzed by Spilman correlation coefficient(Spearman),and the predictive value of combined detection of NRG1 and MMP-9 on the prognosis was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC).Results The serum NRG1 levels in the good prognosis group at different time points were higher than those in the poor prognosis group, and 1 d<3 d<7 d after thrombolysis, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),with MMP-9 levels were lower than those in the poor prognosis group,and1 d>3 d>7 d after thrombolysis, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The serum NRG1 level was negatively correlated with prognosis at different time points, while MMP-9 level was positively correlated with it,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The area under the curve(AUC)for predicting prognosis by combining serum NRG1 and MMP-9 levels 7 days after thrombolysis was 0.826,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain correlation between the serum levels of NRG1 and MMP-9 in ACI intravenous thrombolysis patients and their prognosis.Combined detection has certain predictive value for prognosis and can indicate short-term prognosis after thrombolysis.
