The Therapeutic Effect of Stepwise Rehabilitation Training on Patients with Elbow Joint Dysfunction after Elbow Joint Fracture Surgery
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of stepwise rehabilitation training on patients with elbow joint dysfunction after elbow fracture surgery. Methods A total of 90 patients with elbow joint fractures treated with internal fixation surgery admitted to Jiyuan Jigang Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine postoperative rehabilitation treatment, while the study group received stepwise rehabilitation training therapy. The elbow joint function, active motion joint range of motion(ROM),and swelling degree of the two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment. Results The difference in pain, movement, stability, and daily life scores between the two groups before treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with before treatment, the pain, movement, stability, and daily life scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were significantly improved. The pain, movement, and daily life scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the ROM of elbow flexion and extension, forearm pronation and pronation in the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the swelling scores of both groups decreased significantly after treatment, and the swelling scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Stepwise rehabilitation training can effectively improve elbow joint function, increase joint ROM,reduce swelling, and comprehensively enhance the postoperative recovery effect of the elbow joint. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
