Analysis of the Plastic Effect and Safety of autologous Nasal Septal Cartilage combined with Ear Cartilage in Patients with flat Nasal
Objective To analyze the plastic effect and safety of autologous nasal septal cartilage combined with ear cartilage on patients with flat nasal.Methods A total of 115 patients with flat noses who planned to undergo rhinoplasty at the Second People's Hospital of Lingbao City from October 2019 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects.According to the different plastic filling materials selected,they were divided into prosthesis filling group(57 cases)and autologous tissue filling group(58 cases).The prosthesis filling group received L-shaped silicone nasal implants for rhinoplasty,while the autologous tissue filling group received autologous nasal septal cartilage and ear cartilage for rhinoplasty.The success rate of correction,plastic effect,complications,and satisfaction with plastic effect were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 months of surgery,the success rate of correction in the autologous tissue filling group(96.55%)was higher than that in the prosthesis filling group(82.46%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The nasal morphology of both groups improved compared to before surgery.Compared with the prosthesis filling group,the autologous tissue filling group had a smaller nasal tip angle,longer nasal length,and higher nasal tip height,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The incidence of complications in the autologous tissue filling group(3.45%)was lower than that in the prosthesis filling group(22.81%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The satisfaction of the autologous tissue filling group with the plastic surgery effect on the nose head,nose back,and nose root was higher than that of the prosthesis filling group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The use of autologous nasal septal cartilage combined with ear cartilage for flat nasal plastic surgery has a high success rate of correction and satisfaction with the plastic effect.It can improve the nasal morphology of patients with fewer complications and higher safety.
