Effect of Simethicone combined with Kangfuxiaoyan Suppository on postoperative gastrointestinal Dysfunction in Patients with Hysteromyoma
Objective To analyze the effect of the combination of simethicone and Kangfuxiaoyan suppository in the treatment of postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction in patients with hysteromyoma.Methods A total of 100 patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction undergoing uterine fibroid surgery at Zhoukou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group(50 cases)and combination group(50 cases)according to the treatment plan.The control group was treated with simethicone,while the combination group was treated with simethicone combined with Kangfuxiaoyan suppository.After 7 days of treatment,the efficacy,recovery of gastrointestinal dysfunction,recurrence rate of bloating,gastrointestinal hormones[motilin(MTL),leptin(LEP),gastrin(G-17),pepsinogen ratio(PGR)]and inflammatory markers[C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]between the two groups were compared.Results The effective rate of the combined group(96.00%)was higher than that of the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The disappearance of discomfort in the upper abdomen,recovery of bowel sounds,first anal exhaust,and defecation time in the combined group were shorter than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);After 7 days of treatment,the MTL,G-17,and LEP in the combination group were higher than those in the control group,and the PGR was lower than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05);After 7 days of treatment,the level of WBC,CRP,and TNF-α in the combination group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The recurrence rate of abdominal distension in the combination group(4.00%)was lower than that in the control group(20.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of simethicone and Kangfuxiaoyan suppository has a significant therapeutic effect on postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction of uterine fibroids.It can reduce inflammatory reactions,improve gastrointestinal hormones and dysfunction,and reduce the recurrence rate of abdominal distension.
