The therapeutic Effect of Bushen Gutong Decoction on Bone Pain in maintenance Hemodialysis Patients
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of Bushen Gutong decoction on bone pain in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods A total of 72 patients with bone pain during maintenance hemodialysis at Qingfeng County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Puyang City from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into control group and study group using interval randomization method,with 36 patients in each group.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment,while the study group received traditional Chinese medicine dialectical treatment with Bushen Gutong decoction in addition to conventional Western medicine treatment.The degree of bone pain,bone mineral metabolism related indicators,changes in renal function indicators,and incidence of adverse reactions during medication between two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results There was no statistically significant difference in bone pain scores between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).At the second,fourth,and sixth months of treatment,the bone pain scores of the two groups were significantly reduced compared to those before treatment,and the scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in bone mineral metabolism related indicators between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the blood calcium in the study group was higher than that in the control group,while blood phosphorus,whole parathyroid hormone,and serum bone specific alkaline phosphatase were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of blood urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,and glomerular filtration rate between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the study group had lower levels of urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,and glomerular filtration rate compared to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions during medication in the control group and the study group were 11.11%and 16.67%,respectively,with no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05).Conclusion Bushen Gutong decoction has the effects of nourishing the liver and kidney,dispelling wind and dampness,promoting blood circulation and unblocking collaterals,and can alleviate bone pain in maintenance hemodialysis patients.It is worth applying.
