Clinical Significance and Application Value of combined Detection of serum CEA,AFP and CA125 in Patients with Breast Cancer
Objective To analyze the clinical significance and application value of combined detection of serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),alpha fetoprotein(AFP)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)in patients with breast cancer. Methods A total of 27 patients with breast cancer were selected as study subjects in group A,28 patients with benign breast disease were selected as study subjects in group B,and 27 women who participated in physical examination were selected as control subjects in Wuyang People's Hospital of Luohe City. The sample was included using stratified cluster sampling method from June 2020 to June 2023.The CEA,AFP,and CA125 test results of three study groups were compared. The diagnostic specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy of individual testing and three joint testing for each detection indicator were compared. Results The levels of CEA,AFP,and CA125 in group A were higher than those in group B and the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The gold standard(pathological examination)examination found 27 positive cases and 55 negative cases;20 cases were diagnosed positive and 62 cases were negative by CEA examination;18 cases were diagnosed positive and 64 cases were diagnosed negative by AFP examination;21 cases were positive and 61 cases were negative in CA125 examination,26 cases were positive and 56 cases were negative in combined examination; The combined diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the three indicators(96.34%,92.59%,98.18%)were higher than those of CEA alone(71.95%,44.44%,85.45%),AFP alone(71.95%,40.74%,87.27%),and CA125 alone(73.17%,48.15%,85.45%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined detection of serum CEA,AFP and CA125 can be used for the diagnosis of breast cancer and is worth applying.
