Application of Cognitive-Behavioral Education based on Multimedia Platforms in Home Management of Asthma Children's Family Members
Objective To explore the application of cognitive-behavioral education constructed on multimedia platform in home management of family members of children with asthma.Methods A total of 130 children with asthma admitted to Pingdingshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Henan Province from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the subjects.They were divided into two groups using a lottery method,with 65 cases in each group.The control group received routine health education;The observation group implements cognitive-behavioral education through the construction of multimedia platform.The treatment compliance,health behavior,quality of life,and cognitive level of family members between two groups of pediatric patients were compared.Results The treatment compliance of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the total scores of asthma knowledge,beliefs and attitudes,parental behavior and cognitive level of the family members of the two groups of patients increased,and the observation group was higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After nursing,the total scores of disease care,medication care,monitoring care,and emergency care behaviors in both groups increased,and the observation group was higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The compliance rate of various health behaviors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the symptom score,activity score,emotion score,and pediatric asthma quality of life questionnaire(PAQLQ)score of the two groups increased,and the observation group was higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive-behavioral health education built on multimedia platforms can improve the treatment compliance of children with asthma,as well as the cognitive level and care ability of their families,and improve their health behavior and quality of life.
