Impact of integrated Medical and Nursing Intervention on Treatment Compliance and self-management Efficiency of Patients undergoing Cholecystectomy
Objective To study the application effect of integrated medical and nursing intervention in patients with cholecystectomy. Methods A total of 90 patients with cholecystectomy admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group(conventional nursing mode)and study group(integrated medical and nursing intervention under conventional nursing mode)according to the order of seeing a doctor, with 45 cases in each group.Treatment compliance, gastrointestinal function recovery,self-management efficacy[General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)],and negative emotions[Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)]between two groups were compared. Results The treatment compliance of the study group(100.00%)was higher than that of the control group(86.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The study group had shorter anal recovery time, bowel sounds recovery time, and anal defecation recovery time compared to those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).At discharge, the GSES scores of both groups significantly increased, and the study group was higher than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).At discharge, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups significantly decreased, and the study group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Integrated medical and nursing intervention can ensure treatment compliance, improve negative emotions, enhance self-management efficiency, and promote gastrointestinal function recovery in patients undergoing cholecystectomy.
