Clinical effects of Febuxostat tablets in the treatment of gout with hyperuricemia
Objective To study and analyze the effects of different treatment methods on patients with gout accompanied by hyperuricemia.Methods Ninety-two patients with gout accompanied by hyperuricemia who visited Jiaozuo People's Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected for the study.They were randomly divided into two groups,with 46 cases in each group.The reference group was treated with allopurinol,while the treatment group was treated with flurbiprofen axetil.The treatment effects,levels of inflammatory factors and uric acid,adverse reactions,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was higher than that in the reference group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in inflammatory factors and uric acid levels between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After 3 and 6 months of treatment,tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),and uric acid(UA)levels decreased in both groups compared to before treatment,and the levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the reference group during the same period,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the reference group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The quality of life scores in both groups were higher after 6 months of treatment compared to before treatment,and the scores in the treatment group were higher than those in the reference group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Flurbiprofen axetil can significantly improve the symptoms of gout accompanied by hyperuricemia and levels of UA,sICAM-1,and TNF-α,showing definite clinical efficacy and high safety,thereby improving the quality of life of patients.
