Clinical Researches of PFNA Internal Fixation on theTreatment of Intertrochanteric Fracture in the Elderly
Objective To analyze the clinical value of proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)internal fixation on the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture.Methods A total of 86 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of the femur admitted to Luoning County People's Hospital from March 2019 to March 2022 were divided into a control group[43 cases with dynamic hip screws(DHS)]and an observation group(43 cases with PFNA)using a random number table method.The treatment effects of the two groups were analyzed.Results The incision length and drainage volume in the observation group patients were smaller than control group;the intraoperative bleeding volume,operation time,bed rest time and bone healing time in the observation group were shorter than control group,with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);after 1m,3m and 6m of surgery,the hip joint function scores in the observation group were higher than control group,with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);the surgical complication rates in the observation group(9.30%)were lower than control group(25.58%),with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion Both of DHS and PFNA internal fixation have the fair effects on the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture.However,PFNA internal fixation causes smaller incisions,shorter surgical times,helps promote fracture healing,improve hip joint function,has high safety,and has good clinical application prospects.
