Analysis of the Current Usage of Certain Class Ⅱ Psychotropic Drugs
Objective To analyze the current usage status of Class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs(referred to as"Jing Er drugs").Methods A retrospective selection was conducted on 8000 prescriptions of Jing Er drugs from the First Outpatient Department of Henan Province's directly affiliated institutions from January 2022 to December 2022,all of which were oral medication prescriptions.The current use of Jing Er drugs was analyzed.Results During the period from January 2022 to December 2022,our hospital issued 8000 prescriptions for essential medicines,of which esomeprazole accounted for 35.15％,alprazolam accounted for 25.24％,dexzopiclone accounted for 14.58％,zolpidem tartrate tablets accounted for 13.35％,and clonazepam accounted for 11.69％.Based on the total dosage,it can be concluded that esomezolam>alprazolam>zolpidem tartrate tablets>clonazepam>dexzopiclone;Combining Defined Daily Doses(DDDs),it can be concluded that esomeprazole>alprazolam>clonazepam>dexzopiclone>zolpidem tartrate tablets;Based on the Drug Utilization Index(DUI),it can be concluded that the use of esomeprazole,alprazolam,zolpidem tartrate tablets,dexzopiclone,and clonazepam is generally reasonable.According to the B/A value,it can be seen that the synchronization between the prices of esomeprazole and alprazolam and the patient's acceptance is high,while the prices of clonazepam and dexzopiclone are cheap/frequently used,and the prices of zolpidem tartrate tablets are high or the patient's acceptance is low The proportion of people aged 18-59 who use Jing Er drugs is relatively high,followed by those aged over 59.Conclusion The majority of middle-aged and young people use Jing'er drug oral supplements,followed by the elderly population,and the highest doses of esomeprazole and alprazolam,followed by dexzopiclone,zolpidem tartrate tablets,and finally clonazepam.
