Clinical Efficacy of Yiqi Weixue Capsules Combined with Ferric Glycinate Chelate in the Treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia during Pregnancy
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Weixue capsules combined with ferric glycinate chelate in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia(IDA)during pregnancy.Methods A total of 100 pregnant women with IDA treated in our hospital from January 2018 to September 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a study group(n=50)and a control group(n=50)using a random number table.The control group was treated with ferric glycinate chelate,while the study group was treated with Yiqi Weixue capsules combined with ferric glycinate chelate.The clinical efficacy,blood routine indicators,iron metabolism indicators,adverse pregnancy outcomes,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group(96.00%)was higher than that in the control group(82.00%),with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);the blood routine indicators[mean corpuscular volume(MCV),hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cell count(RBC)]increased in both groups after treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),and the study group was higher than the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05);the serum ferritin(SF)and serum iron(SI)levels increased after treatment in both groups,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),and the soluble transferrin receptor(STFR)decreased,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),the SF and SI levels in the study group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),and the STFR level was lower,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05);the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group(2.00%)was lower than that in the control group(16.00%),with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(6.00%)was lower than that in the control group(24.00%),with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Yiqi Weixue capsules combined with ferric glycinate chelate in the treatment of IDA during pregnancy can improve clinical efficacy,normalize blood routine and iron metabolism indicators,and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes and adverse reactions.
