Stability Analysis of Alanine Aminotransferase Activity under different Preservation Conditions
Objective To analyze the stability of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)activity under various storage conditions. Methods A total of 266 healthy blood donors who passed the rapid ALT test at the central blood station in Zhumadian from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Anti coagulation samples from healthy blood donors were collected, and the initial ALT value was immediately tested. After completing the above operations, the plasma was separated and stored at 4℃,25℃,and 37℃,and ALT activity was tested at different times. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the measured values of ALT after being stored at 4℃for 72 hours(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the measured values of ALT after being placed at 25℃for 24 hours(P>0.05),but the measured values began to show significant changes after 48 hours, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The detection value began to show significant changes after being stored at 37℃for 12 hours, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion ALT activity is closely related to the temperature in the storage environment. To ensure the accuracy of blood ALT test results,it is recommended to complete the test 24 hours after the collection of blood samples. If immediate testing is not possible, serum should be separated and stored at low temperature.
