The Effect of Midwifery combined with Home Companion Care on the Mode of Delivery,Postpartum Depression and Adverse Birth Events in Primiparous Women
Objective To investigate the effect of midwives combined with family-accompanied care on the mode of delivery, postpartum depression and adverse events of delivery in primiparous women. Methods A total of 110 cases of primigravida admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to October 2022 were selected, and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional care, while the observation group was given midwife combined with family companionship care. The length of labor and 2-h postpartum hemorrhage, pain level, psychological stress level, delivery method, neonatal Apgar score and adverse events of labor were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the length of labor in both groups, the length of labor in the observation group was significantly shorter;compared with the amount of bleeding in both groups, the amount of bleeding in the observation group was less(P<0.05);compared with the pain level in each time of labor in both groups, the pain level in the observation group was significantly better(P<0.05).After care, the level of psychological stress in both groups was significantly lower, and compared with the observation group, the level of psychological stress in both groups was lower(P<0.05).Compared with the two groups, the observation group had a higher chance of natural delivery and a lower chance of vaginal assisted delivery and cesarean delivery;compared with the two groups, the observation group had a higher neonatal Apgar score(P<0.05);compared with the two groups, the observation group had a lower incidence of adverse events in delivery(P<0.05).Conclusion Midwives combined with family-accompanied care applied to primiparous delivery can shorten the labor process, reduce maternal psychological stress and pain, which is conducive to increasing the rate of spontaneous delivery and reducing the incidence of adverse events in labor.
