The Impact of the Concept of Rapid Rehabilitation Surgery on the Quality of Life and Postoperative Recovery of Lung Cancer Patients undergoing Radical Surgery
Objective Exploring the feasibility and impact of the application of the rapid recovery surgical concept model in the nursing work of lung cancer radical surgery. Methods Eighty lung cancer patients who underwent radical surgery and participated in the study were admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023.They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table:a control group(conventional nursing,n=40)and an observation group(rapid recovery surgical concept nursing,n=40).After the intervention, the quality of life, postoperative recovery time, lung function, and complications of the two groups were compared. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the quality of life scores between groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of each group increased, with statistical significance(P<0.05)compared to before intervention. The observation group had a higher intervention score than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in postoperative time to get out of bed, chest tube drainage time, hospital stay, and wake-up time between the two groups. The observation group had a shorter duration, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the first second forced expiratory volume(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),and FEV1/FVC between groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, the indicators of each group increased, with statistical significance compared to before intervention(P<0.05).The level of prognostic indicators in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The difference in the risk of complications between groups is significant, with the observation group having a lower incidence of complications, which is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the nursing work of lung cancer patients undergoing radical surgery, implementing the concept of rapid recovery surgery nursing is beneficial for postoperative recovery, improving lung function, reducing the incidence of complications, and enhancing the quality of life of patients.
