The Influence of Video Teaching combined with Case Teaching Method on PICC Maintenance Level of Nursing Students
Objective To explore the application effect of video teaching combined with case teaching method in the peripherally inserted central catheters(PICC)for nursing students.Methods A total of 80 nursing interns in the Department of nail and breast surgery and geriatrics of our hospital from July 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research objects and divided into groups according to random number table method,including study group and control group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional teaching mode,and the research group was given video teaching combined with case-based three-dimensional teaching method.Compared the PICC maintenance assessment and internship satisfaction of the two groups.Results The theoretical and operational scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of teaching style,learning interest,problem analysis ability,self-study ability,clinical thinking ability,combination of theory and practice,team communication and collaboration,language expression and summary ability of the research group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of video teaching combined with case teaching method in PICC maintenance can effectively improve PICC maintenance level and internship satisfaction of nursing students.
