Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation and Washing Combined with Early High-Quality Functional Exercise in Postoperative Care of Patients with Necrosis of the Femoral Head
Objective To discuss the application of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with early high-quality functional exercise in postoperative care of patients with necrosis of the femoral head. Methods 80 patients with necrosis of the femoral head who underwent surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected. They were divided into the traditional Chinese medicine combination group and the regular exercise group by simple random grouping, with 40 cases in each group. The regular exercise group patients were given early high-quality functional exercise, and the traditional Chinese medicine combination group patients were given traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing for nursing on the basis of the regular exercise group, and both groups continued for 3 months. Before and after surgery, the hip joint function score(Harris),daily life ability score(ADL),coagulation indicators[fibrinogen(FIB)and thrombin time(TT)],visual analogue scale(VAS)score at 1 d,3 d,and 7 d after surgery, and the incidence of postoperative complications of the two groups of patients with necrosis of the femoral head were compared. Results Three months after surgery, the Harris scores and ADL scores of both groups of patients increased, and the scores of the traditional Chinese medicine combination group were higher than those of the regular exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).On the 1st day after surgery, the VAS scores of the two groups of patients were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);on the 3rd and 7th days after surgery, the VAS scores of the traditional Chinese medicine combination group were lower than those of the regular exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).On the 7th day after surgery, the FIB and TT levels of both groups of patients decreased, and the FIB and TT levels of the traditional Chinese medicine combination group were lower than those of the regular exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the incidence of complications(pressure sores, joint dislocation, lung infection)in the traditional Chinese medicine combination group(5.00%)was lower than that in the regular exercise group(15.00%),and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing combined with early high-quality functional exercise in postoperative care of patients with necrosis of the femoral head can improve the hip joint ability and daily life ability of patients, and alleviate postoperative pain.
