Analysis of the Nursing Effect of Structured Health Education Assisted Postoperative Rehabilitation Training on Patients Undergoing Knee Arthroplasty
Objective To investigate the impact of structured education-assisted postoperative rehabilitation training on knee joint function,self-efficacy,and quality of life in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods Seventy TKA patients admitted to Anyang Hospital in Puyang City from June 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into a study group(35 cases)and a control group(35 cases)using a double-blind method The control group received routine rehabilitation training after surgery, while the study group received structured health education intervention based on routine rehabilitation training. The Knee Society Score(KSS),knee joint activity,Self-Efficacy Rehabilitation Scale(SER),and quality of life assessment using the Short Form-36(SF-36)were compared between the two groups before and after intervention and at 6 months after intervention.Postoperative follow-up was conducted to compare the satisfaction of the two groups 6 months after intervention. Results At 6 months after intervention, the KSS scores and knee joint activity of both groups were significantly increased compared to before intervention, and the KSS scores and knee joint activity of the study group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).At 6 months after intervention, the self-efficacy in rehabilitation exercise and coping self-efficacy scores of both groups were higher than before intervention, and the SER coping self-efficacy and SF-36 scores of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Follow-up revealed that the satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group at 6 months after intervention, with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion After TKA,implementing structured health education-assisted postoperative rehabilitation training for patients can improve patients'self-efficacy in rehabilitation training, help alleviate postoperative pain, improve postoperative knee joint function, and have a positive significance for improving quality of life.
