The Impact of Nursing Intervention on the Nebulization Treatment Effectiveness and Compliance of Pediatric Acute Bronchitis
Objective To analyze the effects of nursing intervention on the nebulization treatment effectiveness and compliance in children with acute bronchitis(AB).Methods Ninety-two children with AB who received nebulization treatment at the Orthopedic Hospital of Luohe City from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected. They were randomly divided into a control group(receiving routine nursing measures)and an observation group(receiving nursing intervention on the basis of the control group),with 46 cases in each group. The treatment effectiveness, time to symptom disappearance, length of hospital stay, treatment compliance, and satisfaction of family members with nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate in the observation group(97.83%)was higher than that in the control group(83.61%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The time to cough disappearance, fever disappearance, lung rale disappearance, asthma disappearance, and length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The compliance rate in the observation group(95.65%)was higher than that in the control group(82.61%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction of family members in the observation group(97.83%)was higher than that in the control group(84.78%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention for children with AB can improve treatment effectiveness and compliance, promote symptom disappearance, shorten hospital stays, and increase family members'satisfaction, thus warranting adoption.
