The Application Effect of Improved Percutaneous Pinning Technique in the Treatment of Distal Radial Fractures
Objective To study and analyze the application effect of the improved percutaneous pinning technique in the clinical treatment of patients with distal radial fractures. Methods From January 2020 to January 2023,110 patients with distal radial fractures admitted to Wendeng Orthopedic Hospital in Shandong Province were included. They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, with 55 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Henry approach volar T-plate internal fixation, and the observation group was treated with the improved percutaneous pinning internal fixation method. The perioperative indicators, fracture healing time, radiological parameters at 8~12 weeks postoperatively, and wrist joint function at the last follow-up of the two groups of patients were compared item by item. Results The operation time, swelling subsidence time, and fracture healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, and the VAS score was lower than that of the control group, all differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the radiological parameters at 8~12 weeks postoperatively between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05);the recovery effect of wrist joint function at the last follow-up of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The improved percutaneous pinning technique has obvious advantages in the treatment of distal radial fractures compared with the open reduction and plate internal fixation treatment method, and can be applied in clinical practice.
