Impact of Pharmacist Intervention on the Rationality and Safety of Pharmacy Dispensing Prescriptions
Objective To explore the impact of pharmacist intervention on pharmacy dispensing prescriptions.Methods The Fifteenth People's Hospital of Zhengzhou initiated pharmacist pharmaceutical intervention on January 1,2022.Taking this time as the node,12,421 pharmacy dispensing prescriptions from July 2021 to December 2021 before the pharmaceutical intervention were set as the control group,and 12,316 pharmacy dispensing prescriptions from January 2022 to June 2022 after the pharmaceutical intervention were set as the observation group.The incidence of irrational prescriptions,patient satisfaction,and nurse-patient dispute rates of the two groups were observed and compared.Results The incidence of irrational prescriptions in the observation group(3.50%)was lower than that in the control group(14.74%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The nurse-patient dispute rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Carrying out pharmacist pharmaceutical intervention in the pharmacy can enhance the rationality and safety of dispensing prescriptions,reduce the nurse-patient dispute rate,and improve patient satisfaction.
