Application Study of Serum Parathyroid Hormone and Serum Cystatin C Level Changes in the Diagnosis of Renal Failure Uremia Patients
Objective To explore the application value of serum parathyroid hormone(PTH)and serum cystatin C(Cys-C)level changes in the diagnosis of renal failure uremia patients. Methods Twenty cases of renal failure uremia patients treated in Luoyang West City Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the experimental group, and 20 cases of chronic renal failure patients were selected as the control A group. In addition,24 healthy individuals who participated in health examinations were selected as the control B group. The serum PTH and Cys-C levels of the three groups were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between PTH and Cys-C and the occurrence of renal failure uremia.Renal function examination was used as the gold standard to calculate the diagnostic accuracy of combined examination. Results The levels of PTH and Cys-C in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control A group and the control B group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The higher the detection values of PTH and Cys-C,the higher the risk of renal failure uremia, showing a positive correlation(P<0.05).The number of cases detected by single PTH examination was 14(accounting for 70.00%),and the number of cases detected by single Cys-C examination was 15(accounting for 75.00%).The number of cases detected by combined examination was 20(accounting for 100.00%).The diagnostic accuracy of combined examination was higher than that of single examination, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion PTH and Cys-C can be used as diagnostic indicators for renal failure uremia. The higher the detection values of PTH and Cys-C,the higher the risk of renal failure uremia. In the clinical diagnosis and treatment process, this can be used to make a basic judgment, and then determine the best treatment plan, which is worth applying.
