The Impact of a Balanced Diet on the Nutritional Status of Patients with Hyperlipidemia
Objective To analyze the impact of a balanced diet on the nutritional status of patients with hyperlipidemia. Methods A total of 120 patients with hyperlipidemia admitted to The Second People's Hospital of Zhengzhou from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected and randomly divided into a conventional group(60 cases)and an observation group(60 cases). The observation group was intervened with a balanced diet, while the conventional group was intervened with a conventional diet. The negative psychological emotions[Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)],self-efficacy(diet,monitoring),nutritional status[prealbumin(PA),transferrin(TF),serum albumin(ALB)],lipid levels(cholesterol, triglycerides),and nursing satisfaction were compared before and after intervention in both groups. Results After the intervention, the scores of negative psychological emotions in both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the conventional group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention, the diet scores and monitoring scores of both groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the conventional group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention, the nutritional indicators(PA,TF,ALB)of both groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the conventional group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention, the lipid levels(cholesterol, triglycerides)of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the conventional group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group(98.33%)was higher than that of the conventional group(88.33%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion By comparing the self-efficacy,negative emotions, nutritional status, lipid changes, and satisfaction before and after intervention in both groups,it was found that a balanced diet can improve the nutritional status of patients with hyperlipidemia and increase nursing satisfaction, with ideal results.
