Application Research of Standardized Patients in the Practical Teaching of Surgical Nursing in Vocational Schools
Objective To explore the effect of applying the teaching model of standardized patients(SP)in the practical teaching of surgical nursing in vocational schools.Methods From September 2020 to January 2021,80 students from Class 1 and Class 2 of the three-year nursing major at Zhengzhou Health Vocational College were selected and divided into a control group(40 cases)and an experimental group(40 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group received conventional teaching,and the experimental group received SP teaching.The examination scores and teaching effects of the two groups of students were compared.Results The theoretical knowledge,skill mastery examination scores,and teaching effect standards of the students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the SP teaching model in the practical teaching of surgical nursing can help improve teaching effects and stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning,which is worth applying.
