Clinical Effect of Ranibizumab Combined with Retinal Macular Grid Photocoagulation in the Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy Macular Edema
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab combined with retinal macular grid photocoagulation in patients with diabetic retinopathy macular edema.Methods From January 2019 to December 2021,60 patients with diabetic retinopathy macular edema treated in Fuming Hospital of Fan County,Puyang City,Henan Province were included.The patients were divided into a control group and an observation group,each with 30 cases,using a random number table method.The control group was treated with retinal macular grid photocoagulation,and the observation group was treated with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab combined with retinal macular grid photocoagulation.The clinical efficacy after treatment,naked eye vision,macular retinal thickness,and intraocular pressure at different time points(1 month and 6 months after treatment)were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group 6 months after treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).After treatment,the naked eye vision of the observation group at each time point was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The macular retinal thickness of the observation group at each time point was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The intraocular pressure of the observation group at each time point was lower than that of the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab combined with retinal macular grid photocoagulation in the treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy is better than that of single laser photocoagulation surgery.It can help patients recover their vision better after surgery,accelerate the absorption of macular edema,and reduce the impact on patients'lives.
