The Effect and Influence of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Acupuncture in the Treatment of Patients with Cerebral Infarction Hemiplegia
Objective To explore the effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture on patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia.Methods 60 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia who visited the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected.All selected patients were divided into a control group(only treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction)and a needle-drug group(treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture)by random permutation method,with 30 cases in each group.The neurological function,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,hemorheology index,and limb function recovery of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in the comparison of neurological function scores and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the neurological function score and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the needle-drug group were both lower than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in the comparison of whole blood viscosity,whole blood reduction viscosity,and red blood cell aggregation index between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,these three indicators in the needle-drug group were all lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in the comparison of motor function score and Barthel index between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,both of these indicators in the needle-drug group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of cerebral infarction hemiplegia can promote the recovery of patients'neurological function,alleviate the discomfort symptoms of the body,reduce blood viscosity,and promote the recovery of limb function during the recovery period of patients.
