The Impact of Shexiang Baoxin Pill Combined with Isosorbide Nitrate on Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Angina Pectoris
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy,angina attack,and cardiac function of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris treated with Shexiang Baoxin Pill combined with Isosorbide Nitrate.Methods 86 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine of Gushi County People's Hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a treatment group(n=43)and a control group(n=43).The control group was treated with Isosorbide Nitrate,and the treatment group was treated with Shexiang Baoxin Pill combined with Isosorbide Nitrate.The clinical efficacy,symptom scores,angina attack,and cardiac function of the two groups were compared.Results The effective rate of treatment in the treatment group(95.35%)was higher than that in the control group(79.07%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores(palpitations,shortness of breath,chest tightness,chest pain)of the two groups were lower than before treatment,and the symptom scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the duration of angina attack and the frequency of attack in the two groups were shorter than before treatment,and the duration of angina attack and the frequency of attack in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and cardiac output(CO)levels of the two groups were higher than before treatment,and the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)level was lower than before treatment.The LVEF and CO levels of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group,and the LVEDD level was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Shexiang Baoxin Pill combined with Isosorbide Nitrate in the treatment of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris can improve the clinical efficacy,promote the relief of clinical symptoms,improve the angina attack and cardiac function.
