The Impact of Flexible Management on Patients After Open Tibiofibular Fracture Plate Fixation Surgery
Objective To explore the impact of flexible management on the compliance and coping strategies of patients with Vacuum Sealing Drainage(VSD)treatment after open tibiofibular fracture plate fixation surgery.Methods 70 patients with open tibiofibular fractures admitted to the Department of Trauma Orthopedics of Nanyang Zhang Zhongjing Hospital from March 2020 to November 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group(n=35)and an experimental group(n=35)according to the method of sealed envelope random draw.The control group was given postoperative traditional nursing,and the experimental group was given flexible management.The nursing compliance,lower extremity function score(LEFS),self-coping ability[trait coping style questionnaire(TCSQ)],and the incidence of postoperative complications during nursing were compared between the two groups.The quality of life SF-12 of the two groups of patients was also statistically analyzed during the follow-up period.Results After intervention,the nursing compliance,LEFS score,and SF-12 score of the experimental group were all higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,in the TCSQ coping ability of the two groups of patients,the positive coping score(PC)of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and the negative coping score(NC)was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The use of flexible management can significantly improve the compliance of patients after open tibiofibular fracture plate fixation surgery,adopt positive and effective coping strategies when facing their own disease conditions,reduce the risk of complications,restore the function of the patient's lower limbs,and improve the quality of life of patients.
