The Impact of LEARNS Education Model Combined with Baduanjin Intervention on Elderly Hypertensive Patients with Frailty
Objective To explore the impact of patient-oriented LEARNS education model combined with Baduanjin intervention on the health cognition, psychological status, and walking speed of elderly hypertensive patients with frailty. Methods 96 elderly hypertensive patients with frailty admitted to Kaifeng Central Hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected and divided into control group and combined group by random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with routine basic nursing methods, and the combined group was intervened with patient-oriented LEARNS education model combined with Baduanjin on the basis of the control group, and both groups were continuously intervened for 3 months. Before and after intervention, the health cognition level,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score, and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)score of the two groups were compared, and the 6m average walking speed level and grip strength level of the control group and combined group were compared. Results After intervention, the disease cognition scores of the patients'etiology, nursing methods, and treatment measures in both groups increased, and the scores of the combined group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After intervention, the HAMA scores and HAMD scores of both groups significantly decreased, and the scores of the combined group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After intervention, the 6m average walking speed level and grip strength level of both groups increased, and the 6m average walking speed level and grip strength level of the combined group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The patient-oriented LEARNS education model combined with Baduanjin intervention can improve patients'health cognition, reduce patients'anxiety and depression, and improve patients'walking speed.
