Study on the Application Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Emotional Care in Patients with Hepatic Encephalopathy
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine emotional care in patients with hepatic encephalopathy(HE).Methods 100 patients with HE treated in Puyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected.They were divided into an intervention group(n=50)and a control group(n=50)by random number table method.The control group was given routine psychological care,while the intervention group was given traditional Chinese medicine emotional care.The negative emotions,psychological resilience,and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results After the intervention,the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)in both groups decreased,and the intervention group was lower than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention,the score of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)in both groups increased,and the intervention group was higher than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention,the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Version(WHOQOL-BREF)scores in both groups increased,and the intervention group was higher than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine emotional care in patients with HE can alleviate anxiety and depression,improve psychological resilience and quality of life.
