Evaluation of the Effect of Enteral Nutrition Nursing Intervention in the Treatment of Severe Pancreatitis in ICU and Its Impact on Psychological State
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of enteral nutrition nursing intervention on patients with severe pancreatitis and its impact on their psychological state. Methods 70 patients with severe pancreatitis admitted to the ICU of Shenzhen People's Hospital from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were equally divided into a reference group, which received parenteral nutrition nursing intervention, and an intervention group, which received enteral nutrition nursing intervention, with 35 cases in each group. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results After nursing, the levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin A(IgA),and interleukin-10(IL-10)in both groups increased compared to before nursing, and the intervention group was higher than the reference group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)in both groups decreased compared to before nursing, and the intervention group was lower than the reference group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The recovery time of urinary amylase and blood amylase in the intervention group was lower than that in the reference group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After nursing, the scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in both groups decreased compared to before nursing, and the intervention group was lower than the reference group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of enteral nutrition nursing intervention for patients with severe pancreatitis in the ICU can help patients improve the levels of immunoglobulins and inflammatory factors, shorten the recovery time of urinary amylase and blood amylase, and improve their psychological stress, which is worth applying in clinical practice.
